Mommeeeeee

I'm spending my weekend with Dominic! He used to live at our home and he always behaves so well when he is over. When he gets to come visit, he rules the house! Uncle B and auntie totally enjoy spoiling this little man.

Dominic is almost 2 and his vocabulary was starting to grow from the 3 words he always said, mom, da da and outside but now it seems like the only word he uses is Mommy, he holds out the "e" at the end it's too cute.....he says it A LOT though and for anything and everything. If he wants your attention it's Mommy, if he wants something he points to it and says Mommy. I can't help but giggle every time he says it. I think it's hilarious when he calls uncle Billy, Mommy! haha!

So B and I will be playing Mommy this weekend, we're really looking forward to it. B has wanted a baby for the past 2 years so whenever we get the chance to spend time with Dom of course he is all for it. B works this weekend both Saturday and Sunday from 7-7, including some hockey coaching in between those hours so he won't get spend that much with us but we're planning to at least take D out for dinner on Saturday night, probably keep him up past his bedtime and do our best to spoil him rotten ;)

Onto a totally different subject....I have mentioned before I’m in the process of decorating our office, it’s been a long process! Ha! The theme of the office is damask/paisley so pretty much everything in the room is black and white. I just found these adorable little vases to use as accent pieces on a bookshelf in the office, these are from DiningRoomsDirect.com, an online source for dining room furniture and accessories.

There are TONS of great items on this site!! I am going to be doing a review on these products as soon as they arrive. I’m so excited for these new pieces to join our office!


Also going on in the office, my mom is making us a cushion for our window seat. I have a large outdoor cushion that my mom found on sale so I need to pick out some damask/paisley fabric so she can cover it. I would like to find some fabric this weekend. I also finally bought some sheer white curtains and a black curtain rod so whenever B decides to be a handyman those will get hung ;)

now onto something else totally different....did anyone watch the S.Y.T.Y.C.D. finale last night!? Anyone surprised by the winner!? I was! I think the top 4 were all awesome, just thought someone else would win....
