A little about Emma....
I love to be creative and use wonderful vintage and not-so vintage finds in my items. I have all sorts of lovely items available!

I started Fl(h)air in 2009 as a hobby and have been fortunate enough to make it my full-time business. I am originally from Spokane, Washington and made a "big girl move" to the wine town of Walla Walla (touristy small town pretty much in the corner of Washington, Oregon and Idaho) in 2011 for love. I have kept busy with baking and cake design (locally for different events - you can see recipes and more on my blog), working with kids with severe Autism, raising our growing Mastiff puppy Lou and all things Fl(h)air.

Here is a little selection of items you will find at Fl(h)air...

B.Tru...

B.Tru Creative is a unique shop on Etsy I recently came across.
I say unique because everything in this shop is a one-of-a-kind, no pattern design by the shop owner!
The shop owner, Reanna, makes handmade crochet items and my favorite her scarves!
Here is my scarf from B.Tru Creative...
It's chunky, super soft, coral and pure perfection!
It's so warm and cozy and perfect for MN winters!  I'll also be wearing it in the spring with tees and tanks though.  I love it!

Here is a little bit about Reanna, the shop owner!

I’m 27 and love anything crafty, creative, or antique/vintage…oh and my favorite color is PINK! I grew up in a very crafty family. We would craft at the dinner table and spend weekends at either craft shows or antique shows. I learned how to crochet from a friend at a women’s retreat conference when I was in high school. Funny thing is, my mom had learned to knit from her friend and then tried to teach me but I hated it and then I later learned how to crochet and love it! I have accumulated SO much yarn it’s insane! I always get tons of new ideas and go buy the yarn for them and then I don’t end up finding the time to make them (hence why I don’t have a huge selection on my Etsy). What 27 year old has Rubbermaid totes full of yarn in her room? A lot of people will ask what pattern I use for my items and the truth is, I’ve never followed a pattern. I always make things up as I go or I have a vision and just trail and error until I get it to turn out how I was imagining it in my head. Otherwise, I just see a picture of something and I figure out how to recreate it. I also love getting custom orders and being able to create what people need or want to fit their style or house décor.

Unfortunately, about a year and half ago I lost my full-time job and was stuck with a lot of time on my hands and not a lot of money so I got my yarn and hooks out and started going to town. Then I used my photography skills and a friend and created an Etsy account and have been trying to sell my creativity since.
I love the Reanna is so creative and comes up with all her patterns on her own.  That means each item she makes is unique and one of a kind.

snow day fun...

Every Wednesday and Sunday Cullen and I head over to my parent's house.
Wednesday evening we have dinner and watch Survivor.  The boys all play toys nicely together on the floor.
In the Spring/Summer we spend the entire time outside in the pool, playing in the driveway and grilling on the deck.
In the cold months the Cullen and his cousins play games, play cars and run around the house having a "parade" complete with maracas, drums and a harmonica.  At least there is no flute ;)

Sunday and Wednesday are always days I look forward to.  I love spending time with my family!
It is usually time Billy takes as his only down time alone at home.  I get bummed sometimes that he doesn't come to my parent's house but understand he needs a tiny bit of alone time at well and it doesn't stop Culley and I from having fun over there. The couple of hours we spend at my parent's house always flies by!
I also love that I don't 'work on Monday and Thursday so it's ok if Cullen's routine is thrown off a bit on Sunday and Wednesday.

Last Sunday it was a beautiful 35 degrees out, it practically felt like Spring ;)
Since it wasn't so bitterly cold out and the sunshine actually felt warm on our faces we spent the afternoon playing in the snow at my parent's house.  Cullen loves his cousin Dominic, anything Dom does is hilarious!

Here are some of the snowy fun pics....

My brother made a snowman and they gave him a face, scarf and hat...

big tunnels were made at the end of the driveway...

My Momma and Holden...

Dom was king of the mountain

Culs with the side eye, stop taking my picture Momma look.
My sis and HoHo in the back...

Cullen LOVED playing in the snow!  He threw a fit when we all went in after being out there for an hour.  My Dad ended up staying outside with him and Dom to do bubbles.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!  We got in lots of outside time on Saturday, did some Spring clothes shopping, had a lunch date at Rain Forest Café at Mall of America with some friends and spent Sunday playing at my parents house.  C was worn out by the time we got home, he slept from 5:45 till 6:30 the next morning!  I couldn't believe he slept through the night!!

I have a scarf giveaway coming up very soon and an A.B.C. House post :)
