pizza bread (stuffed)...

I was craving a recipe I had tried a few months ago so I decided to make it last week.
It turned out delicious so I had to share!
I originally saw this dish on 30 minute meals and I followed it exactly, this time I skipped Rachel's recipe and went with my own.

Ingredients
1 Green Pepper (chopped)
1 Onion (chopped)
1 pound ground beef (cooked and drained)
3/4 jar of spaghetti sauce (your choice)
I used...
1 loaf of french bread
 Half bag of turkey pepperoni
3/4 block of cream cheese (or more to your liking)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Onion powder (to taste)
Red pepper chili flakes (to taste) - ours was a little spicy
1/2 bag of shredded cheese of your choice
I used...

Preparation
First I cooked the hamburger and drained it.
Then I just dumped in everything else.
I let the sauce simmer for about 45 minutes.
I wanted the veggies tender.
If you like crunchy veggies, just cut the cook time.
The sauce should be thick, if not it would make the bread soggy.

You can cut the french loaf in half length wise and top it with the sauce and cheese.
Or do as I did and just cut out a big portion of the center of the bread and stuff with the sauce, top with cheese.
You can put as much or as little of the sauce on/in the bread as you wish.
You can also use more cheese, I just found half the bag worked for ours.

I heated our broiler on low and popped it in the oven for 4-5 minutes.
Just watch it, once the cheese bubbles you will know it's done.
The meal was filling and delicious and we will be eating it again soon.
We are big eaters, I think there was only about 1/4 left of the pizza bread.

There was extra sauce which Billy plans to top nachos(?) with.
Billy has very few meals he sticks to when I don't cook...
Nachos, wings, mini burgers and pizza.
Poor guy ;)

p.s. i hope you all had a great weekend!
