38 Weeks...

How Far Along: 38 Weeks!

Size of baby: Baby C is around 19.5 inches long and weighing around 6.8 pounds.
(all according to babycenter.com)

Total Weight Gain: 36 pounds! Yikes! Up 2 pounds in a week!!
& I feel HUGE.

Maternity Clothes: Still wearing a mix of everything, although mostly maternity. Just regular jeans.  I'm at the point where I don't feel cute in anything .  My favorite shirt is a long sleeve black shirt from Gap Maternity.  I kind of wish I could just wear it every day.

Gender: BOY!! Baby Cullen!!

Movement: Feeling lots of little feet kicks up high, they are not in my ribs or uncomfortable.  I still just love feeling him move :)

Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good. I can only sleep comfortably on my left side. 

What I miss: This past week I've felt about as large as a house and I'm kinda missing being in shape, working out and wearing regular clothes.  I want to look and feel good about myself again and I know that is far off.  I'm sure all these feelings are normal.  And nothing brings a smile to my faster than just thinking about my baby boy.

Cravings: Nothing in particular, all food is still appealing to me! Hence the weight gain! ha!

Symptoms: Still having braxton hicks, although not very often.  I have some ligament pain and sharp pains down there at times as well.  After sitting at work and then standing to walk, it's a bit uncomfortable but that's expected.  Cramping has started as well, not often or for long periods of time though.

We had a doctor appointment this afternoon, no progress has been made and doc is just sticking to his word that Culley could come any time.
Although technically he could come anytime between now and 42 WEEKS....
I really want to have him sooner than later! 
I have no patience!!

What I’m looking forward to:
Meeting our little man!!!

I finally got my iron-ons from Etsy and made these two bibs and two onesies!


Cullen has the hiccups right now! He has them usually 1-2 times a day.  Poor little baby.

    Mine has hiccups 1-2 times a day too! Sorry no progres! Billy needs to get to work ;)

    Girl you are too cute :) I guess I should get going with putting my iron on's ON something too huh? I hear you with just wanting to be in shape and in normal clothes again; we're almost there!

    ahhh! 38 weeks! :) exciting!! i am still not able to tell a hiccups from a kick?? whats the main different, or how are you able to tell which is which?

    You're so adorable! Did you say you're still wearing regular jeans?! I STILL wear my maternity jeans sometimes! Where did you get that top, it's freaking adorable! Ethan had the hiccups every day and he still gets them every day, it'll be interseting to see if Cullen does too. Can't wait to see pics of your little man!

    My little girl would have the hiccups 3-4 times everynight ... funny thing is.. she still does and she's 7 months.

    The last two weeks were HARD for me (37-39) because I felt huge and hot and miserable. But trust me. It gets better!

    And I know you won't believe me, but you look awesome. And not huge.

    Those feeling are totally normal! I was starting to feel those too, keep in mind I went at 37 1/2 weeks. Just then I had started to feel like I want my body back, and I want to feel comfortable again. So if I would have went to 40 weeks, I am sure I would have been miserable! Your so close, I will miss these pregnancy posts, but I dont care at all because then I'll get to see baby posts!!!!

    Pilates was difficult when I constantly felt like I was going to fall forward!
