perfection...

yesterday...

we woke up to this....

we had NO food....

so this was breakfast...

yep, we ate corndogs for breakfast!

then we grabbed blankets...

laid on the rug on the living room floor...

and watched....

we fell back to sleep for almost 2 hours...

woke up...

ate lunch....

then started watching this....

strange movie....haha!

then we watched some youtube...

80's music videos...

we heart the 80s ;)

then billy had to leave for hockey...
i headed to the grocery store....
we got home around the same time...
it took me forever to grocery shop...
we had an empty fridge and bare cupboards....

billy turned on tv to watch...
billy brought this downstairs for me....
i attempted to do a little blog catch-up but failed....

since billy was home from hockey much before his usual time of 11:00....

he wanted to make dinner...

i love when he cooks for us!!

he made us mini reuben sandwiches...

they were DELICIOUS!!!

i could NOT find rye bread at the store....

i got a french loaf and the mini reuben's were created...

SO YUMMY!!!

the color is off in this picture but dinner was the best...

we had some tots on the side...

after din, we watched....
not only did the twins win,

the wild came back in the end and won as well!

WOO HOO!!

our day off together yesterday was perfect!

between yesterday and monday night,

we got to spend more time together than we have

total in the last 2 weeks....

i could not have asked for a better day with him ;)

& we fell asleep the same way we woke....

to the rain...

FRIDAY

caught up on blogs...

started laundry...

billy had hockey until 10...

once home we had a drink...

& talked through the we hours of the night...

SATURDAY

migraine (BOO!)...

stayed in bed until 3:00...

got up feeling drained...

cleaned the house....

did some laundry....

then surprisingly felt refreshed...

maybe the cleaning/laundry made me feel better...

i spent the night watching 4 little boys....

we were in front of the tv watching hockey...

GO WILD!

SUNDAY

shopping/errands with my mom and sister in the morning...

relaxing afternoon with my honey...

then over to my parents house...

to begin a cleaning adventure...

my sister has not cleaned/organized her closet in forever...

3 hours later...

we were pretty much finished...

homemade chili for dinner....

dominic was a riot at dinner...

we were all laughing so hard...

we were crying...

after din...

billy and my mom chatted for a LONG time...

those two are like besties...

not really but they get along perfectly...

i love it :)

i finished the closet of doom with sis...

then we watched desperate housewives...

home for entourage....

beddie-by time....

TODAY

already behind blogs....

work is busy...

i have nummy leftover chili for lunch...

tonight is the BIG GAME...

vikings vs packers...

i'm a minnesota girl...

GO VIKINGS!!

we are ordering din from buffalo wild wings...

we plan to have a few drinkees tonight...

WE will NOT be working tomorrow...

the next best thing...

Instant coffee packets from Starbucks!

mixed with some of this unhealthy stuff....
and some of this tasty stuff.....
one of the attorney's i work for goes to starbucks...
more than once a day...
every day...
last week he brought me back 10 instant coffee packets.
lOVE!
i don't have a coffee maker at home
so these little things are PERFECT for me!
i think you get 12 in a pack for $10.
i don't know if i'll continue buying these but i love free samples :)
i know there are other brands/companies that sell

instant coffee packets as well but starbucks is my fave!

yesterday this same attorney was at starbucks,
he brought me an americano.
i was not at my desk when he brought it to me
and he was on the phone when i got back to my desk
so i sent him an email saying THANK YOU for the coffee!
he wrote back and said "anything for my former favorite".
excuse me!?! former favorite?!
i asked him who my replacement was.
he replied with a jk, you will always be my favorite.
just have to say i love working for these guys.
they are awesome! :)
