cullen's appointment went so well and he took his shots like a champ! i'm so glad, i was worried because last time he cried and cried. i almost did too. this time he just fussed a tiny bit and we were out the door! :)
back at home, happy monster baby!
i was excited for cullen to turn 6 months old since that meant he got to start eating baby food!
we started on squash and i really had no doubts of him liking it or not ;)
cullen eating his first delicious dinner...
i'd say it was a hit!!
we've since tried sweet potatoes and those go down in about 2 minutes flat.
when it came time to cullen's second meal i found a piece of plastic in his food! it was gerber baby food. i'm just glad i found it before it ended up in his mouth. i will be contacting gerber about this. i was not a happy momma.
we have quite a stock pile of gerber food and we will still be using it. i know it will go quick.
we also have some other plum organic baby food and some other brand of organic food (kitchen something or other?). we'll be using it all.
once it's gone i might start making his food myself. my grandma sent me a book on how to make baby food.
our delicious dinner from that same night....
potatoes, onions, green peppers, lean turkey keilbasa.
all mixed together with olive oil and some seasoning.
baked for an hour at 350.
super simple meal for fall with lots of leftovers!
p.s. I posted an awesome GIVEAWAY yesterday!! $35 to Baby Wild[e] Boutique!! Super cute items!! Go enter! :)

yay for cooking... i',m learning EVERYDAY... but this baby business makes us do crazy things... like become cooks :)
He is just so so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!!! :)
He looks like he really enjoyed his nummers!! He is so adorable!! Making your own baby food is so easy and much cheaper! Def worth it in the long run! If you have any questions you can email me or just stop by. I have a blog post written on it, I can get you the link if you are interested!
Cullen is adorable and you look AMAZING!!!
You are skinny mini! You look gorgeous. And C's cheeks are so yummy!
Well, you already know I'm obsessed with C but this post brought it to a new level! I'm so excited he's eating foods now {minus the plastic in it!} I totally think you should make his baby food though... If he's anything like P {which they are basically twins anyway} he'll be eating around 7oz of baby food by the time he's 8 months and you'll be spending a small fortune. ;) haha I got the Babea Babycook and it is seriously so easy! I make enough babyfood for a month in one weekend! :)
I love that you made potatoes, onions, green peppers, lean turkey keilbasa! It's one of my fav quick dishes!!! My mom used to make it all the time growing up :) Reminds me of home.
Where did you get your sweater? Love it!
I'm excited to give Chase different foods!
I want that sweater you have on. I hve hte perfect boots for it! :)
And...I make all A's food and once you do it once, you will see how easy it really is!!
Yay for food! :) My grandma always said, feed the veggies before the sweets and they will always be a good eater! - Sweet before the veggies, they won't want the veggies.
I glad C's shots went well!
What cute pictures! Your little one is getting so big! Love your outfit!

You'll have to post when you hear back from Gerber.....
How adorable....and love the dinner idea too@!
First of all, I haven't commented on your twitter in forever. Secondly, Cullen is adorable, just like his mamma. Thirdly, thanks for giving me a great idea for my leggings that I have never wore. I tried them on with my boots and it looks great!! I love how you dress. Lastly, the recipe looks delicious!! I have done the same with chicken added with some zucchini and mushrooms. YUM!!
The look in his eye is 'OMG Mom, I love this stuff!!' :) so cute
