don't mind if i do! ha! wait...actually, i do mind a little bit ;) i tweeted last friday about how i had spaghetti for breakfast and how i want to start being better about my health. i like to snack on doritos and cheez-its during the day, amongst many other things. when i'm bored i eat, when cullen is asleep i eat, when i'm waiting for billy to get home, i eat. then i even might again once he is home. ha! my tummy has grown, i'm just always hungry. i nurse so i know some of you might say that's why i'm always hungry but i don't think that's an excuse to eat the way i do and as often as i do.
i can't say that my weight has changed much, which is weird BUT i do notice my tummy and bum changing. i want to start working out to tone up, i want definition. i miss running, i ran almost every day for a few years straight and then a few months into my pregnancy i stopped working out all together. i preferred the couch ;) especially since i was prego in the winter, i never wanted to leave the house once i was home. after i had cullen i worked out a few times at the gym while billy was still able to be home during the day. then i quit going altogether and then i canceled my membership.
i want my legs toned, my tummy toned, and my arms. my left arm is quite toned because that is the arm i always hold cullen with and the side i nurse him on. i don't understand that, i'm right handed but when it comes to cullen i'm left handed. anyone else out there like that? my mom also prefers to hold cullen with her left arm and if she is feeding him a bottle, holds him with her left arm and feeds him with her right. then it kind of makes sense i guess.... anywho, i want my right arm to be toned like my left. maybe it's just in my head and both my arms are the same ;)
i miss that feel good feeling you have after working out! even if it's only for a 20 minutes intense workout, it gets your juices flowing and endorphins on the rise!
my NEW plan....every day before lunch to work out. either doing the 30 day shred level 2 or biggest loser cardio max. i love both and i've seen results with both as well! bonus, they are only 20 minutes. i have no excuse not to take 20 minutes to work out. i can do this while cullen is asleep or awake. he is fine to play in his pack-n-play now for a few minutes and he'd still be right next to me. i am also going to attempt to start making better use of my time. not just stuffing my face when i have nothing to do. there is always something to do.
when i mentioned on twitter asking who would hold me accountable there were quite a few ladies who said they would! just asked the same in return. i was thinking maybe we could all hold each other accountable and have a fit friday to check in and see how we are all doing, if you are not already doing so. one of the ladies said she was going to start a weekly post with a linky so once i have that info i'll share it with you all. i'm not promising i'll link every week or even post every week but i am going to try. more for myself just to keep track and hold myself accountable of actually working out! i figure if i tell you all i'm going to do it, i need to ;)
