spring fashions...

baby cullen style!!  i said i would have this post up a while ago and some of you have asked where it was ;)  without further delay...

the obvious colors for boys are always orange, blue and yellow and i sure did find lots of cute clothes in those colors!!  here are some of the items cullen has in his closet so far, some i purchased last year on clearance and i will do the same thing this year for clothes for next year.  i love sales and clearance especially when stores accept coupons on top of the sales!

one of my favorite stores right now is janie and jack, here is why...

we have a wedding at the end of this month so i think he will wear the vest and button up with some khakis.  now i just need to find something to wear.  i have NO IDEA where to dress shop.  will someone find me a dress to wear, please? and shoes?

another staple store for us is gymboree...

can you tell i like argyle ;)

i would love cullen to wear the gingham green and white outfit for easter but i'm guessing it won't be warm enough, fingers crossed it will be though!

hanna andersson had a few cute pieces, i think their girl clothes are so much cuter than the boys...

C has quite a few one piece items from carter's as well.  one piece's are my favorite and they will be perfect for playing outside!  some other stores i love are crazy8, baby gap, children's place and old navy (i only shop at old navy for clearance and steals because i don't think their clothes wash up that well).

every day t's from gymboree and children's place...

cullen has a few pairs of knit shorts to go with all his shirts, we still need some khaki pants and shorts and some jean shorts.  although cullen's tummy and jeans/jean shorts don't go well together ;) i always think everything is too tight on him and he seems uncomfortable which is why we'll stick mostly with knit shorts. oh and he needs shoes.  he only has a pair or two of sandals so we need some summer sneakers that will go with all of his outfits.  i'm thinking maybe brown, they will hide dirt as well.  just need to find a pair i love.

as soon as it's nice out we will start visiting boutiques for a couple cute one of kind items.  as for now, pushing a stroller in snow plus the cold temps makes visiting those shops not worth it and is the reason why we stick to the mall chain stores.  it is nice to get out and spend a few hours at mall of america, cullen is a people watcher and i get in a little exercise.  we always visit the disney store too and cullen loves mickey so he is in heaven there!

i went through cullen's closet on monday and came out with 3 stacks of clothes that don't fit him, doesn't look like all that much in the pic below but i ended up with about 40 empty hangers. some of the clothes were 6-12 months and he never even wore them, go figure ;)  i ended up taking everything out of his closet and arranged it with spring/summer clothes on top and all his winter clothes on the bottom.  since we live in minnesota winter tends to stick around through the end of april, boo!  i think all the winter clothes in his closet have actually been worn though and some more than once! yay!  i like knowing i got our money's worth for his clothes.

see those two diaper boxes up top, those are full of 2T clothes and some summer 18-24 months the other clothes up there not in the box are 2T as well.  cullen seems to have slowed down in the growing area, he isn't wearing a bigger size every month.  right now at 10 months he is wearing some 12-18 but mostly 18-24, just depends on the store it's from.  i couldn't show you all culley's summer clothes but i think i did show all my favorites :)  now i need to figure out what he is going to wear for his one year pictures.  so many decisions and i have a hard enough time dressing myself, at least he is fun to dress every day!! :)

I've been debating if we are going to the mall today. It was supposed to be windy out and it's not so we might just go to the park. I'm thinking we need to go to gymboree! Dress shopping for you? Macys? Target? Express? I think that's where most of my dresses are from.

Cute! I love how you buy all the little matching socks and hats too. What a well dressed man!

Janie and Jack is adorable, if only their prices were more reasonable. At the rate they grow out of stuff I just can't stomach the cost. Maybe I will have to be better about scouring their clearance racks!

Looks like Mr. C surpassed Jamie! My string bean is still swimming in some of his 12-18 month stuff. Where did I get such a skinny mini kid?? Certainly didn't come from MY gene pool!

Oh my word. That baby is so cute. And I love all the adorable baby clothes - I swear I can't wait to have a baby, just so I can dress him/her (well, and so I can love on the babe too..) Baby fashion is so fun! Luckily I will soon be able to spoil my best friend's baby soon!!
