fight for everything...

three small words.

big meaning.

I don't want to talk about all the sadness going on in our world right now but I have been praying and had a heavy heart the past few days.  There are so many things in life that just don't make sense. 

I know Billy and I would fight for anything and everything to keep our Cullen out of harms way and we are thankful for every day we get with him. He is our everything.

I think by now you all know I am a stay at home Momma, Billy and I couldn't imagine anyone else getting to spend their days with our Culley so when C was around 10 weeks old we came to a final decision that I would stay home. Billy runs a small business, Hockey Shape, which allows him to be home with us a lot more than if he worked a typical 9-5 job.  He does spend most his days on the computer but at least we have the opportunity to see him.  

Just like any small business Hockey Shape has its ups and downs and B has to figure out different avenues to keep the business going.  

Recently Hockey Shape partnered up with Scrappers Hockey.  "Scrappers Hockey is a new company pushing the boundaries of what hockey truly means.  These individuals know they must fight for every inch on and off the ice and know what it means to rep their sport with price." 

Billy wore this shirt home from a tournament yesterday...

I had to share it with you all because I thought it was an awesome shirt with a big meaning.

Granted it does have a hockey skate on it, the message is loud and clear and you don't have to play hockey to know you should always fight for everything you believe in.

If you are a Mom, I am positive you have had to pick up a thrown sippy cup off the floor a time or two.  I know I have ;)  Cullen has actually gotten really good about not throwing his cup anymore and I am thankful for that. There are some times when we are out shopping or going for walks and his cup falls off the stroller tray.  No more dropped, dirty, sippy cups for Cullen anymore thanks to a sippy cup strap!  

Heidi of Chunks Baby Junk sent us a sippy cup strap to review!  

I, of course, choose the hockey themed one for our Cullen!  He is loving hockey these days.  Heidi said she knew I was from Minnesota when I had ordered a hockey themed strap ;)  Heidi, is also a Minnesota gal!  

I will be attaching our sippy cup strap to our stroller so we no longer have to worry about germs getting on Cullen's cup from falling on the floor at the Mall, ick.  We did test out the strap on our high chair as well, I put the suction cup under the tray where the cup holder is and it worked perfect!

just in case...

Just in case you were wondering where I've been...

Totally swamped with orders and LOVING it!! 

These are some of the orders I have going out today! There are more in the box to the right!  I still have a couple more to complete this morning as well.

Once I'm finished with these I need to get our cards addressed and in the mail!  They arrived yesterday. I love all the cards I've received from my blog friends so far! Watch for one from us, it will come soon :)  

I really need to finish my Christmas shopping for Cullen today as well.  We are heading to my parents house for dinner tonight and tomorrow we are going downtown take Cullen to see the big Macy's display.

We had a long weekend at my parents house because we were snowed in but we had a lot of fun over there, pictures to come soon!
