Lost, without you...

Thank You to everyone that left a comment yesterday!! Wishing I could hug some of you right back!
Knowing everyone else has bumps in their road of life was reassuring, none of us have perfect lives...I know that.
About the situation from yesterday, I'm feeling better about it and still thinking how to handle.

Yesterday just opened the door to being "real" and not always having a cheerful blog,
this is real life dontchyaknow!
On that note....
I feel like I’m a fairly positive person and just happy in general. BUT there is someone in my life that has been calling me a negative nancy quite a bit lately.
I don’t know if it’s the topics that come up and the position I put myself in that would make me seem like a negative person.
It’s like I always say the wrong thing.
I know I need to change this because it has never been like me to be like this!
No one else has ever called me negative, at least not that I recall.
This person means a lot to me (pretty much everything) so I have to change this attitude/outlook that I’ve had lately and just snap out of whatever funk I’ve gotten myself into.
I’m missing the smiles and love and everything in this relationship in my life.
Changes have to happen immediately!
It might not just be in my court, the ball can easily be thrown back and fourth.
I am going to do my very best to keep my glass half full :)
Loving Life and I want to be wearing a smile!
I want to be that happy person that I know I am.
(sorry if that's just a little cheesy!)

For every action there is a reaction...
On a positive note…

I received the MEME award from 2 ladies.
The always lovely Aubrey @ Made you Blush
and new blogger buddy, Always a bridesmaid finally a bride!
Thank you both!
Be sure to check out both these girls sites if you haven’t already!!
The set of rules I received from the ladies were different….since I’ve already listed things about myself ya’ll might not know here , I am going to go with the set of rules that Ms. Aubrey sent me which are….

List 7 personality traits...
Pass onto 7 other bloggers who deserve...
Recognition for the personality they share...

MY 7 personality traits are...
-loving/caring
-very shy (until I get to know someone)
-sensitive (sometimes a cry baby)
-responsible (always have been, always will be)
-slightly insecure
-stubborn (who likes being in the wrong)
- affectionate (i love hugs n cuddling)

I want to pass this award on to some wonderfully amazin friends/followers...
some newbees.....some oldies ;)
anyone is free to do this as well if you wanna....
7. Lindsey @ Won’t you be my Nabor

I know I have another tag/award to catch up on and will attempt to as soon as I can!

I will probably not be posting anything the next few days due to the long holiday weekend and I only have a half day tomorrow. WOO HOO!!
My weekend will be filled with friends, a b-day party, kiddos and more than likely lots of nummy food!!

i WILL be catching up on your posts and commenting away as time allows.
Hope everyone has a wonderful LABOR DAY weekend!

I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend! And you do always seem so upbeat and positive on your blog, so I don't see how you could be negative IRL!

Regardless, I hope you get everything sorted out!

Whenever I'm having a bad day/being a total Negative Nancy I give myself a day to be upset and try to think of something funny or sweet Hubs has done recently and I find myself really feeling better. Have a great weekend and enjoy the time to relax! Thanks for my award! It was my first :)

I definitely know what you mean about being in a funk...when I'm in a mood like that, NOTHING feels like it goes right! Don't let people calling you negative get you down though, no one is happy 24/7! Have a good weekend!

Aw! You're too sweet! Thanks so much for the tag!! I can't wait to go do this! At first (months ago), I wasnt sure what to think about the awards n stuff, but now I'm loving participating in stuff! So fun to learn about people and flattering to get one yourself!!! Made me smile-thanks tons!!!!

I totally feel ya on the negativity. I think sometimes it's easy to put on a happy face for people who mean less to you.. b/c well.. you dont need to air your business to them so to speak. So that means the people who mean the MOST to you get the brunt of stuff you wouldnt share with anyone else.. I find myself doing this when I have a bad day and I share it with Eric.. Since he listens so well and is my best friend, too, I am encouraged to turn to him over and over.. and when it's a bad week instead of just a bad day, it can wear on him, I think. I TRY To be attentive to it, but sometimes it just is what it is. It always helps me to do exactly what you're doing.. kinda a personal "wake up" and intentional mood change I suppose. You rock, sister! I think you're a pretty awesome chic. :) XOXO!

Hi Annie! Thanks for the award :) I'll post it soon, pinky promise!!

I really hope that you are okay and feeling more like yourself... I know how it feels to get into one of the slumps. It's awful, and sometimes hard to get out of! So seriously if you ever need to just talk about it you know how to get ahold of me- but I'm SO proud that you are trying to stay positive and put this behind you. I'm rooting for you! :) love you girl! XO

It is a lot harder to always have the "glass half full" attitude. We all have our days and life isn't perfect. Glad things are going better for you!

Ohh, girl -- Thanks for stopping by my blog! I just read through yours and I love it as well! :) (I think I was your 200th follower! Woo Hoo!)

Because I'm new here, I won't pretend to know exactly what you're going through, but I will say that I, too, have never been a negative person. However, lately, I have been experiencing emotions similar to the ones that you described. Whether it be a good friend who has let me down, a stupid rumor circulating, the search for the perfect job, I have been very negative lately! I hate feeling like that! So, although I don't know you well enough to say something brilliant and automatically make everything better, I hope you can at least take comfort in knowing that you aren't alone in feeling that way sometimes.

You are just wonderful. I love that you're going to be keeping a positive outlook - I know it's not easy, especially when things are looking down, but I applaud you for putting forth the effort. I feel like just trying to maintain a positive outlook will help things be better =) I do think that sometimes it's okay to be negative, especially when a rough situation comes up. You seem like a lovely, lovely person though =)
And congrats on all your awards! Have a fabulous weekend, dear.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

And I wanted to say how much I agree with your last post. Blogging is funny sometimes--it can make you think that everyone has these perfect lives, with amazing families and no problems. But we are all human!! There are always going to be funks. I'm in kind of one now, where it "seems" like there's nothing happening, but there is.

I'm a really positive person naturally, so it's hard for me to say when I have an issue, or hard to even be negative! But when I do have a quick moment, it's hard to read a blog about someone who has it great--even thoug that's my FAVORITE part of blogging--sharing lives with people! I'm so happy to read yours. :)
