sweet summer time around our home...

gussy laying to the left....
he is the guard dog whenever the front door is open.
he loves laying at the top of the steps and looking out the screen door.

close up of pattern on runner across the leather ottoman...

i am in LOVE with the scent of this yankee candle!!!

almost all the little accents, plates and candles are from pier one.
candles are ginger peach and first rain.
i'm loving candles lately! we always have a few burning.

yes, i use faux flowers...
i kill the real ones and they are expensive and only last a few days.
i do enjoy buying fresh bouquets from the farmer's market every now and then though ;)
well that's all for today....
happy tuesday friends!!

Pineapple Cilantro? Seems like a weird combo. I'll have to hunt it down and sniff it out. ☺

Annie, your place is too cute! I'm so jealous! How about you come to Tulsa and decorate our house. We currently have "Party Godzilla" on our mantle. Clearly I moved into a bachelor's house after getting married. Have a good day doll!

Very pretty! I love the warm colors!

I used to be obsessed with candles. I really do miss them :( Every now and then I will get brave and light one up but I have to practically attach it to the ceiling to keep the kiddos away from them.

I use fake flowers too! I'd rather save my money for something else. The only real ones I have are ones I cut from the hydrangea bush outside. :)

Your decorations are so cute and I like your style. The daises are so pretty and I bet that Yankee Candle smells delicious. I’m the same as you in that I buy faux flowers. Nowadays they look like the real thing. I usually get mine at Target.
