I'm enjoying a 4 day weekend!

I'm laying in bed writing this....we don't have a laptop!  I drug our mac from the office into our bedroom for the weekend because B is gone in Fargo and I have nothing better to do tonight than hang on the comp, no complaints from me tho!  I take that back, maybe one small complaint....I'm going to miss B, a lot.  I can't sleep when he is away.  We are together every single night.  I was planning to go to Fargo with him but we decided kind of last minute it wouldn't be the best idea.  He is coaching 3 boys hockey teams this weekend which means 6 games a day.  Since we only have 3 full months of nice summery weather in Minnesota, sitting in an ice rink all day didn't sound all that appealing.  Also, my baby sis graduates tonight!  She is 8 years younger than me.  I was planning to attend her graduation but it's inside due to weather and her graduating class is 600 plus kids so each family only received 2 tickets, so my parents are going.

Even though I didn't go to Fargo I figured I deserved a 4 day weekend since I had already requested it off :)  I'm so glad I had off today and B didn't have to leave until around 10:30 a.m.  I couldn't tell you the last time him and I have gotten to lay in bed after waking up together and just watch a little tv and cuddle.  This morning was perfect, we did just that!  Woke up early, of course, and watched Fools Rush In.  I've never seen it, super cute movie!  We watched the entire movie, he showered, grabbed all his stuff and headed out.  I have to tell this, because it was the cutest sweetest thing ever. After he got dressed, I was on the comp and he came and asked me for a hug.  I stood up to give him one and then I noticed he was crying then squeezing me really hard.  I asked him what was wrong and he said he was going to miss me.  He is not emotional like that really ever and usually isn't touchy feely or into hugs so when he hugged me and cried of course it made me cry.  I loved feeling the love he feels for me and getting to see him like that since it's rare.  He means the world to me, I'd be so lost without him. Love HIM! He would so not be thrilled if he knew I was telling anyone he is a softy, at times ;)
oh how i love, LOVE!

I had a day of errands, starting with the bank and a 30 minute drive to go get my ring sized for a third time.  Third time better be a charm!  This time I got lucky and got to have the ring sized right away so I didn't have to be without it for 3 days.  I feel naked without a ring on my finger now.  While the ring was being sized, I went to the outdoor shopping mall and hit up Express, Carter's (i love baby/kid clothes!), Hallmark, JoAnn Fabrics and Pier One.  I found a few cute things! Picked up my ring and it was shiner than ever, i just love it!
Since the two totally different plans I had for the night fell through (fargo - the graduation) I've decided to just stay at home with my Gussy.  I think I'm going to find some stuff to clean or organize.  Oh the uneventful life I lead ;)  I so love my cozy little townhome tho, so I'm glad to be here!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, sorry for the boring post! hehe

Aw how sweet! I love that ring & it's actually the style that I've pointed B towards except with a round center stone....for some day when he FINALLY does the deed! I love the big center stone framed in babies! Have a relaxing weekend...I'll be without my B too all day tomorrow because he is going fishing and I have a wedding to go to tomorrow night....so my wedding fever can get 10x worse haha!

B is so sweet! It must have been so amazing to just relax and lay in bed. B also has phenomenal taste in jewelry, your ring is beautiful!

I think that a weekend like yours sounds delightful and might just be something I have to do once classes get out in less then 2 weeks!!

Have fun with Gussy boy, I am sure he is going to love this one on one time with his Mama. Also, when I have nothing to do I organize and clean, I love when my house is shiny! :)
