I have been working out for a total of 8 weeks now.
8 solid weeks of kicking my booty back into shape.
Every day I say to myself, maybe I'll take off from working out today.
Every day I end up working out and feeling amazing after.
Best part is I'm down 8 pounds and noticing some results.
I'm not lucky like some and just cut sweets or soda out of their 'diet' and drop a lot of weight.
I only drink diet pop (I know it's not good for me) but I don't drink a lot.
I rarely ever eat sweets.
I eat fairly clean.
I drink 2-3 liters of water a day.
I have a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner and little snacks in between.
I will say I didn't cut out adult beverages, I need those in my life ;)
I pretty much stopped working out when I was pregnant with Cullen.
After having Cullen nursing helped me lose a lot of weight and then some.
These days I'm obviously not nursing and my weight caught back up with me.
I sometimes find it funny that I think I can drop the 20 pounds I gained instantly.
It took me a year to put on 20 pounds so I am constantly reminding myself that it's going to take more than a week to lose the 20 pounds.
At this point I'm not even about the number on the scale, I want the inches to shed and I want EVERYTHING toned!
I want to look like I work out and push myself.
I finally got in 3 miles yesterday, without stopping in under 30 minutes.
Huge accomplishment for me.
I just need to keep working towards my goals and challenging myself.
I am almost 30, my metabolism is eventually going to start working against me.

anyway....
This post isn't all about me but more so about the tank I'm wearing...
NEVER GIVE UP
Quite the fabulous saying to think of while working out.
Something I tell myself every day.
My tank came from this Etsy shop...
At Show Your Strength you will find custom made tanks and shirts with different motivating sayings.
A little bit of info from the shop owner, Trina!
I've cut/sliced/shredded/added lace up grommets to tank tops and then I've done a vintage looking silk screen saying on them. All of the sayings are uplifting/funny/girl power/love yourself type of sayings.
I wear different color camisoles under the shredded ones or lace different colored ribbon down the back of the lace up type. It's fun and it changes things up and makes it so I can wear them with anything. I wear them as every day wear and I wear them to work out in.
Trina is so talented! I love all her designs.
Here are a couple of my favorite sayings and designs...
You must go check out the shop because there are so many other awesome designs and sayings!
I want one of each!!

Way to go on the 8 weeks of working out. 1 lb a week is awesome progress! I'm the same way, just eating good and working out doesn't makes the weight fall off. I always tell myself it's a journey that will have ups and downs. I love your attitude about the scale. I needed to hear that!! :)

Hi Annie! I just found you on MN Bloggers. You have a beautiful family! And good for you for working out to get in better shape. I am also on that "healthy life" road. It's been 5 weeks for me and so far, I am still going strong. I look forward to reading more about your getting in shape journey.
